New Oxford Kitchen Fire

A fireman from the first due engine company makes entry into the kitchen of the one story single family dwelling Sunday afternoon on Elm Lane in Oxford Township, New Oxford Pa. Units found a kitchen fire with smoke throughout. The family escaped with their two pet dogs.

Multi Vehicle Crash On Carlisle Pike

Another big crash at  the intersection of Carlisle Pike and 700 Road this afternoon where three vehicles including two commercial trucks collided with one  of them hauling golf carts smashing through the automotive repair building causing extensive damages to the building. One person was transported by EMS to area hospital. Photos by Bryan Felix

Training In Hanover

911 Photography took in roof ops and stokes basket training with the Hanover and Penn Township Fire Departments Wednesday evening. We always enjoy going out to trainings and documenting the hard work departments put into sharpening their skills. Good group of men and women.

Overnight Fire at Haars Drive-In

Firefighters from the Dillsburg area battled a fire early Tuesday morning at the Haars Drive-In along US Route 15. Haars is currently in the process of tearing down thier screen with plans to replace it with a new one. This pile of rubbish was the old screen. Photo by Curt Werner

Friday The 13th Mobile Home Fire

SJR_1689Heavy smoke pours from burning mobile home on Browns Dam Road in New Oxford Pa, near Hampton in the Stockholm Mobile Home Park. Company 10 Engine 10-1 arrived to a fully involved mobile home where the occupants self evacuated prior to their arrival.

One Upside Down On 15

The York Springs Fire Department along with mutual aid companies Franklintown Fire Department and various EMS units responded for the vehicle accident reported with rollover and entrapment on US Route 15 south bound lane at mile marker 25.2 near the Mountain Road intersection. Units arrived to a passenger vehicle upsode down on its rood with one occupant still inside, as well as a tractor trailer off the roadway. The occupant was not entrapped, patient care was provided by a passer by fireman from Louden County FD, until the EMS units arrived on scene. Pennsylvania State Police were investigating.
