Working Fire In Gettysburg


 Box 1 was struck at 12:30 hours Saturday for a commercial building fire in the 100 block of Buford Avenue in the borough of Gettysburg. The Gettysburg Fire Department being already out on a reported structure fire was advised of a second  fire being dispatched which was reported to be a working fire.  Units arrived to fire blowing out the second story windows. The fire was under control in about thirty minutes.

Fire Showing In New Oxford

FIre1A fire broke out today just before 14:00 hours in the one hundred block of Lincoln Way East in New Oxford Borough. The fire department arrived to find fire showing from windows on the “A & D” sides with fire extending into the exposure building on the “D Side”. Photo by EARPS Police officer Tim Mulder

Morningstar Market Building Fire

_Web1An early morning building fire at the popular Morningstar Markets on the Lincoln Highway near Thomasville brought fire departments from York and Adams County to the scene. Thomasville FD arrived to fire and smoke showing in a smaller 25×50′ attached building to the main market buildings. The fire was contained to the smaller building.

2nd Alarm House Fire


A lit, unattended gas grill on the rear porch of this single family home on Collins Circle in Penn Township, Hanover Pa. Sunday evening left this family homeless. Hanover and Penn Township firefighters arrived to find fire through the roof of the attached garage. Several other neighboring departments assisted on this two alarm fire.

2nd Alarm In Hanover Borough


AT 02:30 hours Wednesday morning York County Box 46-02 was struck for the structure fire with fire through the roof. Engine 46-3 called a working fire from one and a half blocks out. Engine 46-1 arriving on scene first, reported heavy fire in the rear of a two and a half story brick home, with reports pf people trapped.  Firefighters found occupants self evacuating after Hanover Borough Police officers kicked the door in to alert residents. Chemical Building Fire Goes Multiple Alarms

WEB1Early this morning, SAVES Fire Department was dispatched to an Automatic Fire Alarm on Radio Road in Conewago Township Adams County, Pennsylvania. As units arrived they found heavy fire throughout the building. Command 29 requested several additional alarms and special called numbers Aerial Devices to go “Heavy Duty” on the Building. Multiple Residents were evacuated from nearby homes. As we post this 10 hours later, crews remain on the scene extinguishing hot spots. For more photos visit our 911 Photography Gallery.
