Hanover Borough Structure Fire

York County Box 46-05 was struck for a structure fire at 215 Carlisle Street ( Niki’s Sports Nook ) in Hanover Borough Monday evening at 20:58 hrs.. Engine 46-1 arrived to heavy fire showing from a two story apartment to the rear of 217 Carlisle Street. The engine companies made fast work of this fire, and considering the exposures were an occupied apartment building, and another house, great work was done to prevent the extension of this fire. Hanover was assisted by Penn Township, Pleasant Hill, and United Hook and Ladder, along with Penn Township EMS. The Hanover Police and Fire Departments are  investigating the cause. Carroll County House Fire 


Several Adams and York County stations including Alpha, Saves, Hanover, Penn Township and Pleasant Hill crossed over the state line for a house fire around 15:30 hours today. Photo by Derrick Potts

2nd Alarm House Fire

A lit, unattended gas grill on the rear porch of this single family home on Collins Circle in Penn Township, Hanover Pa. Sunday evening left this family homeless. Hanover and Penn Township firefighters arrived to find fire through the roof of the attached garage. Several other neighboring departments assisted on this two alarm fire.

2nd Alarm In Hanover Borough

AT 02:30 hours Wednesday morning York County Box 46-02 was struck for the structure fire with fire through the roof. Engine 46-3 called a working fire from one and a half blocks out. Engine 46-1 arriving on scene first, reported heavy fire in the rear of a two and a half story brick home, with reports pf people trapped.  Firefighters found occupants self evacuating after Hanover Borough Police officers kicked the door in to alert residents. Hanover Memorial Day
