2 Alarm Fire at The Ox

Firemen from Adams and York Counties battled this multiple alarm commercial building  fire today at The Ox, an old, once popular and now closed night club along the York Road in Oxford Township. Firefighters arrived to find light smoke and fire from the roof on the A-D corner, once firefighters began opening up, the fire spread rapidly through the common cockloft.

Fire in the Attic on arrival

A Lunchtime Box Alarm was sounded on Jan 9th 2017 for a House Fire on March Creek Road just south of Gettysburg. Firefighters arrived to find this 1.5 story dwelling with Smoke showing from the roof. Firefighters made quick work of extinguishing the fire. Departments on the scene are listed in the tags below.

Well Involved Fire In Littlestown Pa.

sjr_7167Firefighters from Adams and Carrol County Maryland battled this working fire Friday evening on the Baltimore Pike outside Littlestown in Mt Joy Township on Route 97. Firemen arrived to a well involved structure. Firefighters made an interior attack but retreated and went to exterior operations. PSP fire marshal was requested to the scene.

Driver Attempts Drive Thru at Gettysburg Chinese Buffet

SJR_4187A major crash overnight in Gettysburg Pa. has one pick up truck slamming hard into a building housing Li’s Buffet, which also was the Gettysburg Fire Station for many years. A one hour, twenty five minute extrication was needed to free the driver before he was air lifted from the scene onboard Life Lion.

Firefighters Train On Bus Extrications In Gettysburg
