Early Morning House Fire in Gettysburg

A early morning Box Alarm was put out in Gettysburg Borough for a House Fire at Ridge Ave and Red Patch Ave. Gettysburg Police arrived first reporting a working House Fire. Gettysburg’s Engine 1-2 (1st Engine) and Arendtsville’s Tower 5 (1st Truck) crews put a good knock on the fire. This stubborn fire was worked for nearly 2 hours as hot spots continued to flare up. The fire is under investigation by the PSP Fire Marshall. Departments on the scene were Gettysburg FD, Arendtsville FC, Barlow FC, UH&L, Fairfield FC, Biglerville FC, Bendersville FC, and Penn Twp Fire/Rescue, and AREMS. One Pinned Under Tractor

Adams County Box 1-9 was dispatched to 1655 Highland Ave Rd, for a report of a overturned farm tractor. Medic 54 arrived on scene and found same. Gettysburg Rescue & Truck responded along with Barlow Rescue 22. Units utilized airbags along with rescue struts and cribbing to free male patient. Units operated for about 1/2 hr before patient was free due to rough terrain. Engine 22 handled the LZ, Stat MedEvac flew patient to trauma center with moderate injuries. Captain 1 had command. Fire At Gettysburg College Campus

Adams County Box 1 was struck for the commercial building fire on Lincoln Avenue in the Borough of Gettysburg, Pa. Units arrived to a commercial building in the process of being dismantled, and a large debris pile on fire within the structure. Units operated quickly to suppress the fire and keep it from spreading. Photos submitted

Restaurant Burns In New Oxford

Firefighters from two counties battle a two alarm fire Monday morning at the old Keystone Diner along Route 30 just east of Cross Keys. Units arrived to find heavy fire conditions on the C-D corner of the single story, unoccupied restaurant.

2 Alarm Fire at The Ox

Firemen from Adams and York Counties battled this multiple alarm commercial building  fire today at The Ox, an old, once popular and now closed night club along the York Road in Oxford Township. Firefighters arrived to find light smoke and fire from the roof on the A-D corner, once firefighters began opening up, the fire spread rapidly through the common cockloft.
