Heavy Vehicle Extrication Training

TRNG1

The United Hook and Ladder Fire Department sponsored a heavy vehicle rescue class this weekend at the New Oxford station to learn techniques on removal of passenger cars and victims from underneath large type vehicles commonly found on our local roadways.
A concrete mixer was over turned on a passenger car in one scenario. A tractor trailer laid over on a passenger car was another. A tractor trailers rear wheels on top of a car and a large quarry dump truck had a car pinned between it and another dump truck. All great scenario;s with special challenges. Go HERE for additional photos of today’s training exercises.
