Fairfield 2nd Alarm House Fire

Fairfield Pennsylvania volunteer firefighters along with several mutual aid companies from Pennsylvania and Maryland battled an early Saturday morning house fire. Units arrived to heavy fire showing from multiple windows on the second floor, a working fire was called with a 2nd alarm shortly thereafter. To view Chris Eiker’s photos click on the gallery.

Gettysburg FD Battles Mini Fire

MinifireTuesday evening, April Fools Day at 19:48 hours, Box 1-8-30 was struck for a building fire at the old (out of business) Gettysburg Family Fun Center on the York Road. A Copnay 1 line officer arrived with a working fire in a 20×20 structure, requesting the first engine catch the hydrant and lay in. Engine 1-2 arrived, pulled the 300′ line and made quick work of the miniature structure that was part of the miniature gold course display. Mutual aide companies assisted with overhaul. The fire was considered suspicious and the fire marshal was requested. Additional photos HERE.

Working Fire Near Center Mills

Firefighters arrived to a working house fire in a two story single family swelling in Butler Township Saturday afternoon. one family dog was rescued and assisted by EMS while sadly, another dog perished in the fire. Chris Eiker brings us some nice photos of the Upper Adams firefighters in action today.

The crew of Engine 6-1 of the Biglerville Fire Department took a moment pose for a group photo while taking a break from battling a grain dryer fire near Gettysburg Pa. .
