Early Morning House Fire in Gettysburg

A early morning Box Alarm was put out in Gettysburg Borough for a House Fire at Ridge Ave and Red Patch Ave. Gettysburg Police arrived first reporting a working House Fire. Gettysburg’s Engine 1-2 (1st Engine) and Arendtsville’s Tower 5 (1st Truck) crews put a good knock on the fire. This stubborn fire was worked for nearly 2 hours as hot spots continued to flare up. The fire is under investigation by the PSP Fire Marshall. Departments on the scene were Gettysburg FD, Arendtsville FC, Barlow FC, UH&L, Fairfield FC, Biglerville FC, Bendersville FC, and Penn Twp Fire/Rescue, and AREMS. Chicken House Fire Kills 100k Birds

Firefighters from at least three counties battled a large chicken house fire early Saturday morning on Oxford Road  in Tyrone Township, Adams County. It has been reported over 100,000 live chickens perished in the fire that started just before 6:00AM. Firefighters battled the fire in very humid and high temperature conditions, two injuries were reported to firefighters.

Working Fire In York Springs

Firemen battled a working  fire Wednesday evening around 20:00 hours  in Huntington Township near York Springs Pa. Arendtsville Saw Mill Burns

Thursday morning at 03;43 hours, Adams County Box 5-7 pre-alert was sounded for a building fire at 1240 Nawakwa Road in Menallen Township.
Crews responded to the Mountain Valley Farms for the second time in two years. Company 5 units arrived to a well involved 50×100 saw mill on fire.
A working fire dispatch was immediately struck followed by a second alarm shortly after. Crews remained on scene for several hours as well as the fire marshal investigating. Photographers Bryan Felix and Steve Roth captures this gallery of photos.

Aspers Entrapment

BendersvillecrashThe Bendersville Volunteer Fire Dept responded to a serious crash Monday afternoon near Aspers Pa. in Menallan Township. Units arrived to a SUV under power lines with entrapment. Cameraman Ryan Eiker sent us these Photos.
