Arendtsville Saw Mill Burns

Thursday morning at 03;43 hours, Adams County Box 5-7 pre-alert was sounded for a building fire at 1240 Nawakwa Road in Menallen Township.
Crews responded to the Mountain Valley Farms for the second time in two years. Company 5 units arrived to a well involved 50×100 saw mill on fire.
A working fire dispatch was immediately struck followed by a second alarm shortly after. Crews remained on scene for several hours as well as the fire marshal investigating. Photographers Bryan Felix and Steve Roth captures this gallery of photos.

Buchannon Valley House Fire

CBURGRd1Adams and Franklin County Volunteer Fire Departments operated at this working house fire this afternoon along the Chambersburg Highway (US Rt 30). Engine 27 arrived to find fire out several windows on the first floor. The fire was held to the working fire assignment. Heavy Entrapment near Cashtown

Cashtown and mutual aide fire departments worked a heavy entrapment crash Friday evening on Chambersburg Road (Rt 30) near Cashtown Pa. A SUV slammed into the trailer portion of a tractor trailer. One occupant of the SUV as flown from the incident. To see more of Chris Eikers Photos, click here.
