Fire in the Attic on arrival

A Lunchtime Box Alarm was sounded on Jan 9th 2017 for a House Fire on March Creek Road just south of Gettysburg. Firefighters arrived to find this 1.5 story dwelling with Smoke showing from the roof. Firefighters made quick work of extinguishing the fire. Departments on the scene are listed in the tags below.

Well Involved Fire In Littlestown Pa.

sjr_7167Firefighters from Adams and Carrol County Maryland battled this working fire Friday evening on the Baltimore Pike outside Littlestown in Mt Joy Township on Route 97. Firemen arrived to a well involved structure. Firefighters made an interior attack but retreated and went to exterior operations. PSP fire marshal was requested to the scene.

Rooftop Fire In Littlestown Pa.

untitled (5 of 36)Alpha firefighters work on the roof of Sandusky Metals in Littlestown Pa. Sunday afternoon after a small fire broke out under the solar panels covering the entire roof of the structure. The fire was placed under control in less than fifteen minutes.

House Explodes, several Firemen Burned

Friday morning at 11:06 hrs, Adam County Company 20, the Alpha Fire Department from Littlestown Pa was dispatched to 372 Lexington Way for an inside investigation of a gas leak, meeting with Columbia Gas Company. Engine 202 arrived with normal conditions, after verifying no one home, forced entry into the house. Four firefighters were working in the basement when an explosion occurred, injuring all four members. Command 20 requested a box alarm assignment as well as three Advances Life Support units and BLS units, along with medivacs. Two firefighters were flown to the Bayview Burn Center in Baltimore Maryland for treatment of their injuries.

Fully Involved In Carroll County Md.

12626081_1119990288019443_1988687522_nPleasant Valley Fire Company (Carroll County Station 6) was dispatched to investigate fire in the woods in the 400 block of Leppo Rd Carroll Box 6-16. Carroll Co Communications upgraded the assignment for a working house fire when Engine 61 arrived finding a large two-story single-family dwelling well involved with fire with auto also on fire. Mutual aid from Adams 20, York 52, 49 and 46 responded as well. Sadly, several family pets, dogs and cats perished in the fire. Photo Gallery by Derrick Potts and Robert Copper
