New Franklin Mobile Home Fire

At 2046 hrs Franklin County units were alerted to 2924 Country Road, Box 17-3 for a house fire. E17-1 w/ Chief 17 onboard arrived to a single wide mobile home with fire showing from the rear bedroom extending out the hallway. 17’s crew put a line in service and put a quick knock on the fire, additional crews from Sta.4, Co.1, 8, 3 & 7 assisted with extensive overhaul. Fully Involved Trailer Fire

Firefighters found a fully involved mobile home on top of the Pigeon Hills mountain off Race Track Road. About a mile up a very steep, rocky trail led to this abandoned, hoarder conditions fire. Pa. State Police Fire marshal is investigating.

Wood Shed Burns

United Hook & Ladder firefighters direct a hose line on a burning pile of cut and stacked wood after the pile caught fire Friday morning outside New Oxford on Beaver Run Road. It took the home owner using a bobcat to lift the metal building up and over the burning pile of wood to allow easy access to the firemen.

Fatal Fire In Buchanan Valley

Adams County box 27-3 was alerted today at 12:32 hours for the reported house fire with entrapment. Company 27 arrived on scene with a well involved mobile home with reports of one elderly female trapped inside. Friday The 13th Mobile Home Fire

SJR_1689Heavy smoke pours from burning mobile home on Browns Dam Road in New Oxford Pa, near Hampton in the Stockholm Mobile Home Park. Company 10 Engine 10-1 arrived to a fully involved mobile home where the occupants self evacuated prior to their arrival.

Fatal Mobile Home Fire In Littlestown

Just before 03:00 hrs, Adams County Box 20-4 was struck for the house fire with entrapment on the Frederick Pike in Germany Township, Littlestown Pa. Chief 20 arrived on scene and immediately requested working fire dispatch. After the fire was marked under control, firefighters could get inside to search, sadly, a victim was found deceased among the rubble.  The Adams County Coroners office as well as PSP fire marshal is investigating. This fire was is the third fatal house fire in two weeks in Adams County. Photos submitted
