Life Net 8-1 helicopter crew prepares to transport one patient involved in an industrial accident at Wege Pretzel. Firefighters had an extensive extrication to free a person from a mixing machine at the pretzel producer in Hanover.

Freezing Temps Cause Broken Pipes

Smoke Condition at Brethren Home Complex

Firefighters from the Irishtown Fire Department climb the ladder of Truck 33 to assist with a small fire in the air handler system on the roof of the Brethren Home Wednesday morning. A slight smoke or dust condition was found on the third floor of the nursing home.

Box alarm 33-12 was truck for the silo fire at Hoke Mills in Abbottstown Borough Wednesday evening. Units just returned from a previous house fire when this was alerted.

Commercial Fire Alarm With Water Flow

United Hook & Ladder Fire Dept. was alerted Monday morning at 04:43 hours for a automatic commercial fire alarm at the Brethren Home in Oxford Township, New Oxford Pa. Deputy Chief 33 arrived on scene with command and requested additional assistance for flooding conditions. Mutual aid companies also assisted with water removal. Photo by Bryan Felix
