LODD Funeral For Firefighter Earl J. Shoemaker

Shoemaker of the Eagle Fire Company #2 was laid to rest with full honors after he died in the line of duty on Saturday March 12, 2016 when responding to a house fire in West Manheim Township, Hanover Pa. Firefighter Shoemaker suffered a fatal cardiac emergency while driving emergency apparatus.

Honoring Their Fallen

SALUTEA police officer and firefighter from the Eastern Adams Regional Police and United Hook and Ladder Fire Department salute after placing a wreath at the newly constructed monument to honor their fallen brothers and sisters. The monument was donated and constructed to honor the three police officers and two firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty serving and protecting the New Oxford communities. Weigand Jr. who was killed in the line of duty on this date, September 14, 2008 while escorting a charity motorcycle ride. Junior, as we was known by to his friends and co-workers was working for the Latimore Township Police Department, located in York Springs Pa.  Junior was a full time police officer serving the Eastern Adams Regional Police Department in New Oxford, Pa. Continue to rest in peace Mike, as we will continue to NEVER FORGET you.

WCO David L. Grove 5K Memorial



Members of the 30th Cadet Class of the Wildlife Conservation Officer Academy run carrying their class flag toward the finish line during the 3rd annual memorial 5K race held in Gettysburg Pennsylvania today in honor and memory of fallen WCO David L. Grove, who was killed in the line of duty on November 11, 2010 while conduction a vehicle stop of a suspected deer poacher. The subject was found guilty and sentenced to death by a jury of his peers.
