Fully Involved Gettysburg House

Firefighters battled a fully involved house fire in the Barlow area of Adams County just after midnight Wednesday morning. Firefighters from two states and three counties battled the fire.

Row House Fire In Gettysburg

The Gettysburg Fire Department along with mutual aid companies battled a middle of the row-house fire overnight, with heavy fire in the #22 unit on Sunnie Way in Cumberland Township.

Early Morning House Fire in Gettysburg

A early morning Box Alarm was put out in Gettysburg Borough for a House Fire at Ridge Ave and Red Patch Ave. Gettysburg Police arrived first reporting a working House Fire. Gettysburg’s Engine 1-2 (1st Engine) and Arendtsville’s Tower 5 (1st Truck) crews put a good knock on the fire. This stubborn fire was worked for nearly 2 hours as hot spots continued to flare up. The fire is under investigation by the PSP Fire Marshall. Departments on the scene were Gettysburg FD, Arendtsville FC, Barlow FC, UH&L, Fairfield FC, Biglerville FC, Bendersville FC, and Penn Twp Fire/Rescue, and AREMS. Small Fire In Hanover Borough

Truck 46 of the Hanover Fire Department sits in front of a two story, single family dwelling where firefighters from York County Stations 46 & 49 responded for smoke in the attic. Chief 79 (Clousher) arrived to find the odor of smoke and wood burning from the exterior of the home. A small electrical fire was found to be the origin of the odors. Photo Submitted

Structure Fire York City

York City Fire firefighters battled a small structure fire this afternoon after clearing multiple storm related calls from a slow moving thunderstorm that hit the area. City units arrived to find fire in a 1.5 story single family dwelling.  Photos by contributing photographer Greg Halpin

New Oxford Kitchen Fire

A fireman from the first due engine company makes entry into the kitchen of the one story single family dwelling Sunday afternoon on Elm Lane in Oxford Township, New Oxford Pa. Units found a kitchen fire with smoke throughout. The family escaped with their two pet dogs.
