Commercial Building Fire In Frederick Md. 


At 0011 hrs, Frederick County box alarm 3-35 was alerted for the building fire across from 8006 Reichs Ford Road, on the city/county line in East Frederick. Frederick County firefighters arrived on scene with fire showing from 3 bays of an industrial building. Companies held the fire to the area of origin in the cast iron fabrication shop. Units operated until around 0430 hours. Photo submitted

Brethren Home Building Fire

SJR_9815A large building under construction on the Brethren Home Community Complex burned to the ground early Saturday morning. Multiple explosions rocked the fire ground after several propane cylinders exploded.

Working Fire In Gettysburg


 Box 1 was struck at 12:30 hours Saturday for a commercial building fire in the 100 block of Buford Avenue in the borough of Gettysburg. The Gettysburg Fire Department being already out on a reported structure fire was advised of a second  fire being dispatched which was reported to be a working fire.  Units arrived to fire blowing out the second story windows. The fire was under control in about thirty minutes.

3rd Alarm Photography captured these cell phone shots today while working a RIT assignment at a well involved wood shop fire in Lancaster County Pa. Mutual aid departments from Lancaster, Chester and Berks counties assisted. Caernarvon Fire Department was first due.

2nd Alarm Fire In Emmittsburg Md.

Frederick County Maryland Box 6-1 was struck just before 15:00 hours today for fire visible at Pauls Pit Stop 100 block of  South Seton  Avenue in Emmittsburg. The fire went to two alarms in a multiple family dwelling bringing firefighters from two states, three counties, Frederick, Carroll and Adams. Photos submitted by FF Tom Carr.

Coroner Called To Red Carpet Inn


Engine 49-2 staged in front of the Red Carpet Inn motel after the Hanover and Penn Township Fire Departments responded around 07:30 hours Thursday morning for a structure fire at the local motel at 1080 Carlisle Street in Hanover borough. Units arrived to no fire but did find a deceased person in one of the motel rooms. Hanover police and fire department personnel as well as the York County Coroners office are investigating.
