Car Fire Damages Home

Firefighters from the Marion Fire Department in Franklin County battled this car fire this morning in near zero temperatures at 6283 Molly Pitcher Highway. Station 8’s engine arrived to an auto off next to the house with very light damage to the garage due to fast work by firefighters. The clump in front of  the wagon is the cars airbag that blew out of the vehicle after  the fire departments arrival. Photos by Curtis Bryan

Camper Fire In Chambersburg

Saturday evening at 2308 hrs as E1-2 (Chambersburg FD) was sitting at the traffic light at S. Second & E. McKinley Streets returning from the mobile home fire, Communications alerted units to 158 E. Car Fire at Hobby Lobby

Tanker Truck Burns On Interstate 81

A petroleum tanker truck crashed and burned Thanksgiving Day on Interstate 81 near Chambersburg Pa. Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved tanker spreading into the woods. Unknown status of the driver as of this morning. Photo by 911 Photography contributing photographer Shane Shifflet

The 24 Hour Fire

dsc_1366A propane truck rolled over, slitting open and caught fire early Wednesday morning in Jackson Township, York County along Lake Road. Firefighters arrived to find a truck over the guard rail on fire with the driver in the cab. A fire police officer assisted the driver to safety. Fire Departments from at least two counties were and are still on scene for 24 hours while the fire “burns itself out”. York County Haz Mat was also on scene. Photo gallery by Bryan Felix
