Car Into Building

Police, fire and EMS were alerted and responded to the Rite Aid on York Road in New Oxford for a vehicle that struck the building while attempting to park. Minor injuries and minor damage to the structure.

Entrapment On York Road

Early Morning Entrapment

An early morning Adams County crash in Conewago Township brought firefighters and EMS  from S.A.V.E.S. along with ALS from Hanover Hospital to the intersection of Black Lane and Oxford Road for a two vehicle crash with one entrapped. One occupant was extricated from the black car by Rescue 29 and transported to area hospital for further care. Chief 29 had command. Photos by Bryan Felix

Car Snaps Utility Pole On York Road

aUnited Hook and Ladder firefighters responded to a reported auto accident with entrapment on Friday afternoon at the entrance to the Bridges Golf Course on the York Road. EMS arrived to find one occupant still on the car, not entrapped.

Tanker Truck Burns On Interstate 81

A petroleum tanker truck crashed and burned Thanksgiving Day on Interstate 81 near Chambersburg Pa. Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved tanker spreading into the woods. Unknown status of the driver as of this morning. Photo by 911 Photography contributing photographer Shane Shifflet

The 24 Hour Fire

dsc_1366A propane truck rolled over, slitting open and caught fire early Wednesday morning in Jackson Township, York County along Lake Road. Firefighters arrived to find a truck over the guard rail on fire with the driver in the cab. A fire police officer assisted the driver to safety. Fire Departments from at least two counties were and are still on scene for 24 hours while the fire “burns itself out”. York County Haz Mat was also on scene. Photo gallery by Bryan Felix
